Welcome to the Northern Beaches Health Service Redevelopment page. This is where staff can access information about how the redevelopment will affect them.
- Health services are being transformed as part of the biggest investment in healthcare on the Northern Beaches in decades. The new health services and infrastructure will help meet the changing needs of the community and make it easier to access quality healthcare.
- The transformation of the Northern Beaches Health Service will create a modern healthcare system, delivering world class services and facilities.
- A key part of the redevelopment is the new Northern Beaches Hospital, which is on target to open late 2018. The nine-storey hospital for public and private patients will employ a highly skilled workforce of 1,300 people.
- The integrated approach to healthcare will see new services delivered at Mona Vale Hospital in contemporary, purpose built facilities, while more than $100 million is being invested in three new community health centres at Mona Vale, Seaforth and Brookvale.
