Who are we?

Healthy Lifestyle is a physical activity program for adults. A part of Health Promotion (Northern Sydney Local Health District), the program has been run across the Northern Sydney area for over 30 years and receives more than 10,000 enrolments each year.

Courses are suitable for beginners and those who exercise regularly. They are also beneficial for people dealing with osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease or other chronic conditions.

Our participants report they feel stronger, fitter and more mobile for taking part in exercise classes. They also enjoy the opportunity to socialise and meet new friends.

Leaders

Course leaders are fully registered to teach their exercise discipline and have training in working with older adults. They also undergo professional development training and performance assessment on an annual basis.
