The Kolling Institute of Medical Research has a long and proud 80-year history of turning scientific discovery into clinical insights to provide high quality patient care.
Since 2010, the Institute has operated as an unincorporated joint venture between Northern Sydney Local Health District and the University of Sydney.
A review of the Institute has been undertaken as we approach seven years under the joint venture arrangement.
The Review (see Terms of Reference) considered the Institute's current activities, structure and governance, as well as its relationships with universities, hospitals and other research organisations.
The Review also considered how the Institute can blossom as a vibrant research facility to deliver the health outcomes that the community needs and expects, and to attract and retain research and support staff into the future.
