Orientation Program​​

Welcome to NSLHD. As a new employee of the Local Health District, you will be required to attend orientation, for both your department/specialty/stream and for NSLHD corporate orientation. Your new manager will be able to provide you with information pertaining to your department/specialty/stream orientation. ​


 

Staff Health Requirements​

Vaccinations are mandatory for anyone with patient contact including Boostrix (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Whooping cough) Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and a Hep B course. Anyone born overseas or who has lived in a high risk country for less than 2yrs needs to​ have TB screening. ​For more information, click here and read the information from NSW Health under the 'Health care worker vaccination' section.
