Early childhood education & care services have an important role in supporting mothers to continue to breastfeed, including when returning to work.

Storing breast milk magnet
This fridge magnet describes the correct procedure s for storing and providing breast milk. The best position for the magnet is where your service stores expressed breast milk for your team to refer to when necessary (NQS Quality Area 2).
Breastfeeding policy insert
Incorporate the items in this insert into your service's existing policies, orientation manual, or parent handbook to strength your commitment to support breastfeeding mothers (NQS Quality Area 2 & 6, NQS Standard 5.1.2).
