Children and young people aged 0-17 years (or 18 if still at school) with severe and complex mental health problems that live in the Manly, Warringah or Pittwater Local Government Areas.
Referrals can be made by contacting Northern Beaches CYMHS on 9388 5150 between 9am and 5pm.
Health professionals may phone or send referral information (via fax or post). However the family, legal guardian or young person (where appropriate) must contact CYMHS to confirm the referral and initiate the request for service.
Urgent and crisis cases can contact Northern Beaches CYMHS on 9388 5150 between 9am and 5:00pm. Outside of these hours, contact the Extended Hours Team at Manly Hospital on (02) 9976 9611, or go directly to your nearest Emergency Department.
If there are immediate safety concerns call "000".
Urgent and crisis cases include where there are concerns for the safety of a young person (e.g. imminent risk of self-harm or suicide); risk of harm to others; acute and sudden onset of mental health symptoms.
