Healthy Lifestyle is a physical activity program for older adults. A part of Northern Sydney Health Promotion (Northern Sydney Local Health District), the program has been run across the Northern Sydney area for over 30 years and receives more than 10,000 enrolments each year.
Courses are suitable for beginners and those who exercise regularly. They are also beneficial for people dealing with osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease or other chronic conditions.
Types of courses on offer: Aqua Exercise, Gentle Exercise, Strength Training, Tai Chi, Yoga and more.
Our participants report they feel stronger, fitter and more mobile for taking part in exercise classes. They also enjoy the opportunity to socialise and meet new friends of their own age.
