The aged care department is a comprehensive service available for people living in the community. The multidisciplinary team at the memory clinic provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, management and treatment of memory disorders. The assessment may include a CT scan, an MRI and an FDG PET scan of the brain. In some cases gene testing may be recommended along with genetic counselling.

Eligibility

The service is available to all adults with a memory problem requiring a diagnostic assessment, treatment and management.

Referral

A referral from your local doctor is required to access this service

Urgent cases

Urgent cases can be discussed with the Clinic Nurse at the time of referral.
