Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program

The OACCP is a multidisciplinary program targeting individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis which provides evidence based treatment options to reduce pain, improve function and quality of life, and ultimately enable the client to self-manage their injured joints and related health problems more effectively.

Eligibility

All patients from the elective joint replacement list waiting for total knee replacements at Mona Vale Hospital are invited to participate in the program.

Referral

Presently there is only capacity to invite patients from the waiting list so no direct referrals are accepted.

Other Information

This service is geared towards improving pre-surgical management of individuals on the elective knee joint replacement lists.
