Management of pain in patients whose underlying causes have been previously assessed.
Mail (using the address at the bottom of this page) or fax referral to 02 94631050. Questionnaire will be sent out to the patient.
Patients presenting to emergency departments within Northern Sydney Local Health District, cancer-pain cases, or patients in the first 3 months post-surgery can fax their referral with
"URGENT Referral" stated clearly at top. If a consult is needed within a week it is essential to discuss the case with "Pain-fellow-on-call" via switch 02 9926 7111.
Priority is given to patients residing within Northern Sydney Local Health District.

This video consultation service is for people who have a scheduled appointment with the Royal North Shore Pain Management Clinic via video connection.
Appointments for this service must be arranged in advanced. If you have booked a Telehealth video-consultation, simply click the start video call link below, 5 minutes before your booked appointment time.

You will need to ensure you have the following:

- Video Camera installed
- Microphone installed
- Internet access
- Log in Pexip instruction pack with your Telehealth dial in number from the Pain Management Centre Reception staff
You will receive an instruction pack when you have been allocated your appointment either in person or by mail. The dial in (log in) number will be recorded within the instruction pack. If you do not have a pack please contact reception on 94631500
For first time users please call the Pain Clinic Reception on 94631500 to set up a time to test your internet speed, microphone and camera prior to your appointment date. The staff at reception will assist you with any troubleshooting questions.
