​Entries are now open for this exciting competition which will help Ryde Hospital establish an art collection to make the hospital more pleasant for
patients, visitors and staff.

There are great cash prizes on offer, and the entries of the 20 finalists will become part of Ryde Hospital’s permanent collection. They will become
the property of Ryde Hospital.

We’re looking for work which is welcoming, engaging and restorative. Works should be a minimum size of 500mm x 500mm and a maximum of 900mm x 900mm; framed (no glass - acrylic is acceptable) or otherwise ready to hang.

The theme for the competition is 'Our Community, Our Future'.

In each of the categories of art and photography, there will be a first prize of $1250, a second prize of $500, and a third prize of $250. In addition, a
People’s Choice prize of $1000 will go to the artist or photographer with the most popular entry.

The competition is open to all Ryde Hospital staff, and residents of the Ryde and Hunters Hill LGAs.

Entry is open to people aged 18 and over; and the judges’ decision is final.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the hospital in November.
