Overview

​The Michael J Cousins Pain Management and Research Centre (MJC PMRC) is a large multidisciplinary pain clinic located in the Douglas Building of the Royal North Shore Hospital. It was established in 1991 responding to the need for a specialist facility to manage all types of pain. Read more about MJC PMRC here.

We are open for all - public, private and compensable patients - with no out of pocket fees.

    These are a good starting point to help you understand more about your pain. The book “Manage Your Pain” was written by staff from our clinic and we use it every day.
