When Dr Linda Xu isn’t working as a geriatrician and general physician at Ryde Hospital, she spends her time volunteering with St John Ambulance NSW. 

Her dedication and commitment to her voluntary work led Linda to receive the 2023 Ryde Local Woman of the Year Award. 

Linda has volunteered with St John Ambulance NSW since 2003. During this time, she has dedicated more than 2500 hours to the community. 

“It is an honour to be recognised for doing something I enjoy,” Linda said.
