Munch & Move is a NSW Health initiative that supports the healthy development of children birth to 5 years by promoting physical activity, healthy eating and reduced small screen time. ​


Munch & Move offers free practical workshops to all educators working in the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector across Northern Sydney. The workshops are designed to up-skill educators in physical activity and healthy eating.

Mini Moves Fundamental Movement Skills Workshop

The Mini Moves workshop is a free practical and skill-based workshop designed to familiarise educators with the Mini Moves resource and increase educators skills and confidence to teach children FMS to children 3-5 years. 

Time: Starts promptly at 4.30pm, ends 7.00pm

Healthy Menu Planning Workshop

Register to attend free NESA accredited training in healthy menu planning for cooks and directors/nominated supervisors working in early childhood education and care (ECEC) centre-based services. Receive an update on guidelines for healthy eating, get tips for making your menu even healthier and network with other Cooks & Chefs. The workshop presented by Early Childhood Training and Resource Centre is based on the Caring for Children Resource.
