Celebrations recently took place for Administrative Professionals Day, highlighted by an inaugural awards ceremony.
Administrative Professionals Day is celebrated each year to acknowledge the work administrative staff carry out each day across the district.
To mark the occasion, administrative professionals from across the district came together at Macquarie Hospital for an awards ceremony and a panel discussion.
Interim Chief Executive Lee Gregory said the day serves as an important reminder to recognise the work admin staff do to ensure different departments and services function coherently across the district.
“It’s great that we are back this year to formally recognise the work our admin staff do through the inaugural awards ceremony,” he said.
“I would like to formally thank all of you for the work you do. You are all the backbone to so many teams and services across the district and I hope you know your work doesn’t go unnoticed.”
