Oral health staff from across the District brushed up for Dental Health Week last week, filling everyone in on the tooth (truth) behind the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.

Stands at Royal North Shore, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai, Ryde and Brookvale got tongues wagging with freebies and advice from dental health professionals.

This year’s Dental Health Week asked people to reflect on how their dental health was tracking, with 65 per cent of Australian having not seen a dentist in the past two years, while 40 per cent never floss or clean between their teeth.

This year’s campaign saw the team also partner with the Health and Wellbeing committee and the Drinking Tap Water Campaign.
