The NSLHD Strategic Plan 2022-2027 has been launched, providing a framework for how the district delivers care over the next five years.
Over 800 staff, patients, carers, members of the local community, clinical leaders, and key partners helped shape the development of the strategic plan, which defines the key priorities and future goals of the district.
Chief Executive Deb Willcox thanked the invaluable insight from staff and the community which helps to ensure NSLHD is well placed to deliver high quality care.
“Their insights, experiences, individual perspectives and feedback have been incredibly important. We thank them for their contribution in helping to ensure we are well placed to continue to deliver high quality, person-centred care now and in the years ahead,” she said.
As part of the new strategic plan, the district has also launched a new vision: Exceptional Care, Leaders in Research, Partners in Wellbeing.
“Our vision, together with our Strategic Plan 2022-2027, will guide the future of care in NSLHD,” Deb said.
