The staff in Royal North Shore Hospital’s Microbiology Department have been working around the clock to get COVID-19 results to patients as quickly as possible.

NSW Health has reported there has been over 56,000 tests carried out in NSW, with health officials stressing the importance to keep testing for those with symptoms who are at high risk of the disease so results can be turned around faster.
