The crowd also heard from Suzanne Hopman, the CEO and co-founder of Dignity about how the partnership will change the lives of so many for the better.
"In the four years Dignity has been operating, we’ve provided 50,000 people with temporary crisis accommodation and have served more than 400,000 meals to those in need," she said.
"I’m truly so thankful and very excited by this partnership with Northern Sydney Local Health District.
"It will allow us to do even more for those who need a hot meal, a warm bed and a touch of kindness in what is a very difficult time."
