The Sexual Health/HIV Service provides a range of Sexually Transmissible Infection's (STI's) and HIV services for the prevention, monitoring and management of STI’S and HIV.



The priority populations for the Sexual Health/HIV services are:

  • People Living with HIV
  • Gay & Homosexually Active Men
  • Aboriginal people
  • People who inject drugs
  • Sex Workers; and
  • Young People.


Self-referrals are accepted, as are referrals from health professionals. To refer, patients can access the service by contacting triage on 02 9462 9500.

Urgent cases

There are several options to access urgent health care:

In urgent cases you can attend the Emergency Department at your nearest Hospital where there is 24 hour access to specialist health care and support.

If the situation is urgent or becoming dangerous ring Triple Zero (000) and request an ambulance. They will be able to assist the person safely to the hospital Emergency Department.
