Monday to Sunday: 24 hours, 7 days per week Visiting hours: Monday – Friday: 4:30pm – 8pm, Saturday and Sunday: 10am – 8pm
The Brolga unit assist young people ages 12-17 years (under 18 years old) who are experiencing mental health problems. This is an inpatient admission unit that provides a safe and therapeutic environment based on a client centred model of care.
To enable us to provide a safe environment there are some restrictions on what you can bring onto the unit.
Parking available at the hospital.
Bus option: Bus (575) from Hornsby and Turramurra railway stations (get off at Lowe Road).
Train station option: Hornsby Station – The distance to the Hospital is approximately1.8km. If you wish to walk please note there are a number of hills. Exit the station on the George Street side via the pedestrian overpass. From Waitara Station – The distance to the Hospital is approximately1.5km. Exit the station on theAlexandria Avenue side. This walk is reasonably flat.
