 What we do

We provide physiotherapy care for people with injuries and conditions of the hand and wrist.

 What to bring

  • Your referral letter from your GP/Specialist
  • Relevant images/scans/ test results (including CT or MRI scan of affected area)
  • List of current medications
  • Your Medicare/DVA Card
  • Previous splint/orthosis if applicable

 When to visit us

Your GP or Specialist is your first step in seeking advice and treatment for any condition. People with injury or trauma, or conditions of the hand and wrist may be referred to our service for physiotherapy treatment. Once we receive the referral it will be reviewed by our service, and you will be notified of the outcome and next steps. Patients with more acute and severe conditions are prioritised, with a variable waiting list for those patients with long-standing conditions.

Please note that phone calls from the hospital may appear as a blocked number.  Please answer our call if you can and/or turn on voicemail to allow us to leave you a message.

If you have a scheduled appointment, you may receive a reminder text message. Please inform the reception staff at Check-in G promptly if you are unable to attend your appointment.  We have the ability to utilise telehealth appointments, where appropriate.
