Occupational Therapy - Aged Care - Ryde Hospital

We provide occupational therapy to adapt the environment or modify the task to allow consumers to engage in activities of daily living.

We care for the frail aged or clients with complex medical conditions

DEXA Bone density scan (30mins)

To be eligible for the service clients need to be over 65 years and living in the Ryde or Hunters Hill local government area.

Clients under the age of 65 whose needs are unable to be met by a specialist provider, may be accepted on an individual basis. Examples of this include clients who meet Safe and Supported at Home (SASH) eligibility criteria and clients who are under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) but they have health requirements that would lead to a hospital admission.

Can transport be organised for people to attend?

Patient transport service for outpatient appointments for frail clients who do not have their own means of transport or are unable to make their way safely to the hospital.
