Occupational Therapy - Ryde Hospital

The occupational therapy service assists patients who are admitted to Ryde Hospital and the Graythwaite Rehabilitation units. The occupational therapy service conducts assessments of activities of daily living. Our treatment plans promote and restore function, health and wellbeing.

The types of conditions treated include:
• Acute illness
• Neurological conditions
• Injury
• Orthopaedic conditions
• Conditions related to ageing or/or chronic illness

The occupational therapy service cares for any patient admitted to Ryde Hospital. All services are provided to inpatients.

All referrals to occupational therapy are made through the electronic medical record system. Referrals are only accepted from other inpatient departments.
