 What we do

Working in collaboration with local Community Mental Health Services, PIMHS supports mums, dads, parents, babies and families, who are experiencing severe or complex perinatal mental health disorders. PIMHS help treat parental mental illness; reduce symptoms and help recovery; and support the emotional attachment between you and your baby.

Parking available in front of hospital. (It is timed parking bay)


Buses (151, 160X, 188, 188X, 189X, 190X and 199 stop at the intersection of Pittwater Road and Coronation Street). Walk from the bus stop – about 2 minute walk.

 Referral information

Consumers of the PIMH team must be linked with a NSLHD Mental Health Service and referral to the MHDA PIMH clinical team is via existing Mental Health Service referral pathways.
