How to visit us

Hornsby Hospital has a multi-storey car park that offers 500 spaces and is located at gate 2 (Palmerston Road). This carpark provides access for all areas across the campus. There is also substantial visitor parking in gate 5 (Derby Road)  which provides the best access to buildings 17, 14, 16 and 8 and the hydrotherapy pool. There is a small amount of visitor parking available at gate 1 for emergency, paediatrics and maternity, and gate 9 for the STAR building (56) and building 57.

Parking fees apply in accordance with the NSW Health's Hospital Car Parking Fees Policy. Concessional rates apply to those who are eligible.

Disabled parking spaces are available in these areas and are also on Lowe and Palmerston roads, though street parking availability is very limited. Your valid disabled parking permit must be displayed in your car at all times. Please do not park in restricted parking areas; you could be blocking access to emergency services.

Other information

Is there a cost to patients to attend the clinic?

The supply of medications from the pharmacy usually involves the payment of a patient co-payment. This co-payment is equivalent to the co-payment charged in the community according to the concessional or general status of the client for valid Medicare card holders. Clients without a valid Medicare card will be asked to pay the full cost of the item unless an alternate arrangement has been approved.

Credit card payments can be made directly at the pharmacy department. Cash payments will need to be processed at the cashier's office.
