Physiotherapy Back and Neck Pain Pathway Triage - Royal North Shore Hospital

We offer a holistic triage assessment for people with back and neck pain who have been referred to a spinal orthopaedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon.

A referral from a GP is required for the triage of patients by the orthospinal or neurosurgeons. If appropriate, patients are offered a holistic assessment with a  senior physiotherapist to determine a patient-centred managemenmt plan.

GP Referrals can be sent by e-mail, fax or Connecting Care.

Is there a cost to patients to attend the clinic?

No; Medicare card holders are bulk billed.
