The Youth Response Team (YRT) is a crisis intervention service which works within CYMHS to support young people aged 12-17 (or 18 if still attending school), when they are experiencing acute psychological distress and/or suicidality who may be at risk of harm to themselves or others.
YRT is a mobile service and can visit you in your own home as an alternative to the emergency department.
There is no limit to the number of times a young person may call the service.
