Gynaecology/early pregnancy assessment clinic - Hornsby Hospital

We provide gynaecology and early pregnancy care to women living in the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai local government areas.

To access the gynaecology clinic you will require a referral from your GP.

Referral from your GP musty be addressed to consultant gynaecologists and obstetricians Dr Vatsayan and/or Dr Mani.

You may be referred to the early pregnancy assessment clinic by Hornsby Hospital ED following a full medical assessment if you have minimal PV bleeding and pain and less than 16 weeks wks of pregnancy. If ongoing review is necessary then a GP referral will be required.

For both clinics you must live in the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai local government areas, if you are unsure which local government area you are, when you call the staff in the clinic they will check your address with you and let you know your local hospital if required.

If you require an interpreter we can arrange one on your behalf for your appointments within the gynaecology clinic.

A GP referral is required to be faxed or emailed to the clinic.

Please note referrals to the gynaecology clinic are reviewed by the obstetrics and gynaecology team regularly and appointments are allocated based on urgency.  Once a referral is received staff will contact you with an appointment time.
