Paediatric Physiotherapy Hospital Outpatients - Royal North Shore Hospital

We routinely measure height and weight in all children as part of a child’s health assessment.

We provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for children aged between 0 and 18 years.

Children may receive physiotherapy assessment and treatment for a wide variety of reasons including:

• Developmental delay
• Neurological or genetic conditions
• Orthopaedic or musculoskeletal conditions
• Psychological conditions

• Images / scans
• Referral

A referral is required to access paediatric physiotherapy hospital outpatients services at Royal North Shore Hospital.

• GP referral
• Allied health referral
• Medical referral

Is there a cost to patients to attend the clinic?

There is no cost with a Medicare card. For clients who do not have a Medicare card, a cost will be incurred.
