Requests to film at our hospitals and services

We receive a large number of requests to film at our hospitals every week ranging from film school students to large TV and film productions. All requests are managed by the media and communications unit. Requests can only be accommodated, if possible, and based on the benefit to the hospital, the staff and the capacity to manage the request.

Film crews at our hospitals and services must be respectful of the privacy of patients and their carers at all times, and take care not to obstruct staff from doing their jobs. All filming requires supervision by a member of the media unit team.

Media unit staff will cancel filming at any time if there is an operational or clinical reason.

Filming requests for the purposes other than news or current affairs should be submitted in writing to NSLHD-media@health.nsw.gov.au
