We provide assessment, treatment and advice on osteoporosis and fracture prevention.

We care for and treat people who are over the age of 50 who have had a prior minimal trauma fracture ( a fall from a standing height or equivalent trauma). We also care for people with osteoporosis or osteopenia who have a risk of fracture.

 What to bring

  • Your referral letter from your GP/Specialist
  • Your Medicare/DVA Card
  • Previous DEXA Bone Mineral Density report if you have one and any recent blood test results.
  • If you need to have a DEXA Bone Mineral Density test, please wear clothing without metal, such as zippers or buckles. Ideally this means no metal bra under wires or clips.

  • Aged 50 years or older (or post-menopausal if younger)
  • At least one prior minimal trauma, low impact fracture
  • No known metastatic or myeloma bone disease/pathological fracture.
