Biography

After graduating from medicine at University of Sydney, Jennie completed her hospital training at RNSH.  She enjoyed all area of clinical practice making it difficult to decide on a specialty to follow but realised that General Practice would best match her broad interests.   She has been at the Hornsby and Brooklyn GP Unit since 2004 and during that time has seen many patients move from one life stage to another and finds the continuity of patient care as well as the variety, a rewarding part of General Practice.

Jennie also has a keen interest in medical education and since 2002 has combined her clinical practice with part-time work in medical education in a variety of local, state and national roles and is currently the Director of Prevocational Education and Training (DPET) for the junior doctors at Hornsby Kuring-gai Hospital.

Jennie is happy to see patients of all ages and her interests are all areas of general practice including preventative health care.
