alternate text 46Bungee Bidgel - Aboriginal Health Clinic

Bungee Bidgel is our clinic for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.  The clinic name is a mixture of local Indigenous dialects.  Bungee (Guringai) meaning 'I’m', and Bidgel (Darug) meaning Better – 'I’m Better'.

The team comprises of a senior GP, clinical nurse and support staff from the NSLHD Aboriginal Health Service .  There is also a lawyer from Legal Aid on site, who is able to see patients for advice about legal matters.  This clinic brings together partnership with the local community by offering a multidisciplinary clinic to provide easier and timely access for Bungee Bidgel patients to services throughout Northern Sydney. This clinic is run through the Hornsby GP Unit

We welcome and respect all patients that attend our Bungee Bidgel Clinic.

We have a branch practice located at Brooklyn (north of Hornsby, along the Hawkesbury River).


Clinics run every day at Brooklyn, Monday to Friday, either a morning or afternoon session is offered.  Our Practice Nurse attends Brooklyn on Tuesday and Friday mornings, along with one of our GP doctors.  Appointments are required, however we will do our best to fit in any walk-in patients.
