​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​While in hospital we will put on your hospital identification name tags. Please check all the details are correct. It is important you do not remove these tags. We will ask you your name and date of birth many times during your stay. It helps us keep you safe.​​

You may wish to discuss with our friendly admission team if your social name, and/or gender identity is different to your legal documentation. Whilst we may still need to confirm your legal identity, if we are appropriately informed, we can make every effort to utilise your social name and respect your identity throughout your stay.
