When we found Coral Tree, that’s when the good started to happen. The staff really listened and worked closely with us, identifying Kate’s behaviours, giving us honest feedback and helping us to come up with next steps and tools that would work for Kate and our family. We can’t thank Coral Tree enough for changing our lives – we couldn’t have done it without them.
Another family reflecting on their experience of being at Coral Tree….
We, Mark and I, were simply overwhelmed with the incredible support, guidance and genuine kindness we received from the Coral Tree staff. Not only are they so knowledgeable about what they do, but I felt that they had such a good insight into Ben's psyche, diagnosis and history, and resulting behaviours. They were incredibly patient, and understanding and treated us with such a genuine empathy, respect and kindness, and provided us with such a high level of support and guidance at all times of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were always approachable, and open to hearing our side of things, whilst also gently but firmly guiding us and steering us in the right direction about things we could do better with Ben. They also went above and beyond in recognising that some of our interactions within ourselves (Mark and me), were possibly not helpful for Ben, and took that extra time and effort to address these as well, with a wholesome "wrap around/ whole picture” approach.

From one family, reflecting as their child moved from primary school to high school….
It is incredibly difficult to put into the words the debt of gratitude we owe you all for the time, patience and guidance you have gifted Charlie. Not to mention the support each of you have provided to Twonie and I on our journey with our little girl. Each and every-one of you has played a critical role in helping Charlie grow from the frightened and anxious child that started Year 2. Her time at Arndell and Coral Tree in Year 3 was vital in her development and resetting some of the learnt behaviours to enable her to return full time to her school for Years 4 to 6. This care and dedication has been critical in Charlie’s development as a student and as a young girl growing up in a fast moving, ever evolving world.

I just wanted you to know how well Alex is doing and how grateful I am for the support, compassion and dedication shown to myself, Alex and his brother. He enjoys school, has hassle free days and is much more patient and calm. We are not out of the woods but it’s a better place than when I met you a couple of years ago. The program was the best thing that happened to send Alex off in a good direction for his future and I wanted to share with you that I am full of hope for a bright future for him.
