The NSLHD Graduate Health Management Program is designed to introduce you to the health system and no previous experience or study in health or management is required. The graduate program is not suited to people with extensive management experience.
In this stage you will need to complete an online application, providing answers for the selection criteria outlined in the Position Description. Please attach your cover letter and resume with your application.
If you are successful in progressing to the second stage of the process, you will be notified by email and you will be invited to complete the following assessments from the 22-24 August 2023:
PI Behavioral Assessment: The Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment is an untimed assessment and should take approximately 5-6 minutes to complete. This assessment measures an individual’s motivating drives and needs in the workplace and can predict how people will behave in given situations. There are no wrong or right answers in this assessment.
PI Cognitive Assessment: The Predictive Index Cognitive Assessment is a 12-minute assessment of an individual’s general cognitive ability. The PI Cognitive Assessment was built and validated exclusively for use in the workplace and it provides insight into a person’s capacity to learn, adapt, and grasp new concepts. The PI Cognitive Assessment does not measure IQ or previously acquired knowledge (e.g., job-specific knowledge), skills, or willingness to learn new things. Rather, it indicates how quickly an individual can be expected to acquire new knowledge.
Stage 3: Virtual Interviews by 7 September 2023
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a short virtual interview to get to know you better. These virtual interviews will be conducted in late August and early September 2023.
Stage 4: Formal Interviews by 15 September 2023
If you are a successful candidate, you will be invited for a formal interview. This will involve delivering a presentation and answering a series of questions to ascertain your suitability for the role. These interviews will be conducted from the 13 -15 September 2023
Stage 5: Offers of employment by end of September
If you are a successful candidate you will be notified over the phone and you will receive a letter of offer. This offer will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks (citizen, visa, qualification and criminal history).
