​Our team works to help Munch & Move Early Childhood Educators increase their understanding and skills in implementing healthy eating and active living strategies at their service. A range of professional learning and workshops is available in a variety of formats and on a range of topics.​

Munch & Move eLearning Training Program

​​​​​​Munch & Move offers​ ​free, ​self-paced online training ​modules. ​​​​The training contains videos interactive activities and reflective practice questions. These will provide educators with the knowledge, skills and resources to embed healthy eating and physical activity into their service.

​​​​​​​Once trained in Munch & Move your service will have access to its own Northern Sydney Local Health District Support Officer as well as practical resources to support the development and implementation of policies and practices promoting healthy eating and physical activity, and limiting small screen time in your service.

Lunch & Learn Sessions

​​Our Early Years team in collaboration with our Northern Sydney Child, Youth and Family Health Services teams regularly teach on different topic areas around health, well-being and development for children in their First 2000 days. These sessions are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 1:00 – 1:40pm.

Menu Assist Professional Development

​Our Menu Assist Service provides a range of menu support for your Early Childhood Education service's cook or chef.

From time to time, our team hosts professional development sessions for cooks and chefs. Sessions have included:
