​​Who Are We?

Childbirth & Early Parenting Education is a pre-natal education unit within Population Health Promotion located at Royal North Shore Hospital.

We conduct preparation for birth, parenting and exercise programs, as well as virtual facility tours for expectant parents - primarily for those attending RNSH for the birth of their baby.​

​Get Healthy in Pregnancy

Get Healthy in Pregnancy is a free evidence-based phone and online NSW Health coaching service for pregnant women. University qualified health coaches provide support and tools to help women stay healthy during their journey from pregnancy, to birth and beyond.

The program can support pregnant women to:
  • ​set and achieve their health goals
  • eat well and keep active
  • avoid alcohol
  • gain a healthy amount of weight in pregnancy
  • keep on track and motivated
  • ​achieve a healthy weight after birth
