Acupuncture is one of the supportive care services available for radiation oncology patients. It is available for patients receiving treatment and can be effective to manage cancer treatment related symptoms including:

• Fatigue
• Anxiety and depression
• Hot flushes
• Joint pain and stiffness
• Immune function
• Nausea and vomiting​
  
• Radiation induced dry mouth
