How to get to radiation therapy

​The Radiation Oncology Department is part of the Northern Sydney Cancer Centre on Level 1 of the Acute Service Building, at Royal North Shore Hospital.

Main Entrance - If you are entering the hospital from the main entrance on level 3, take the 'green' elevator to level 1, and follow the corridor on your left.

Back Entrance – Alternatively, our department is accessible via Eileen Street and Lanceley Avenue just off Herbert Street. Upon entering from the street, read the signs and follow the corridor to your right to Radiation Oncology. Use the below map as a guide.​

Alternatively, the Radiotherapy Unit can be accessed from the Main entry foyer on Level 3. Take the green elevator to Level 1 and follow the corridor on your left.​


​Public Transport


We are located only a short walk from St Leonard's railway station. There are also multiple bus stops near the corner of Pacific Highway. Please use theExternal Linktransport NSW website Externa​l Link to plan your trip.​


​Parking


Radiotherapy patients attending treatment appointments ONLY, are eligible for FREE parking. This is available on Eileen Street and Lanceley Avenue off Herbert Street, St Leonards. You will need to display your treatment schedule on your dashboard to validate your parking. Free parking is subject to availability.

Other parking options include the P1 and P2 multi-story car park which can be accessed from reserve Road for P1 and Westbourne Street for P2. Parking rates apply if you choose to park here, but you may bring your parking ticket with you to your appointment and ask our reception if you are eligible for a parking validation/ concession.
